About Jess

Jess Armitage is a Clinical Psychologist working in private practice. She has experience across a range of settings including private hospitals, alcohol and drug counselling services, domestic violence and sexual assault counselling services, child and family services, university clinics and private practice. 

In addition to providing individual psychotherapy, Jess has previously facilitated group therapy programs for individuals struggling with alcohol and drug use, worked as a case manager for at risk children and their families and provided acute crisis interventions for women escaping from high risk domestic violence situations.  

Jess strives to provide a supportive, non-judgemental therapy space that fosters curiosity and care for one’s life. Compassion, hope and an understanding of the challenges of being human guide her practice.
