About Jess

Jess Armitage is a Clinical Psychologist with experience across a range of settings including private hospitals, alcohol and drug counselling services, domestic violence and sexual assault counselling services, child and family services, university clinics and private practice. 

In addition to individual psychotherapy, Jess has previously facilitated group therapy programs for individuals struggling with alcohol and drug use, worked as a case manager for at risk children and their families and provided acute crisis interventions for women escaping from high risk domestic violence situations.  

Jess has completed a Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Honours Psychology) and a Master of Clinical Psychology. She is a registered psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and has an endorsement in Clinical Psychology. She is a current member of the International Association for Relational Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy.
